Step onto the ice and compete in the electrifying Ice Hockey World Championship, where elite players from the NHL, KHL, and other international leagues face off in a five-division tournament.
Choose your player with a simple tap and execute sharp, strategic shots—whether it’s a direct attempt, a clever bank off the boards, or a deflection off another skater. You can also use the boards to pass or score, as long as the path is clear. A direct shot isn’t always the smartest option; anticipate the opponent’s moves and study their formation. Sometimes, playing defense is key: knock opponents out of position and wait for the perfect chance—like when the goalie leaves a gap or the boards give you a clean route to goal.
The tournament features national teams organized into five divisions, each split into two groups of eight. During the group stage, you’ll play seven games. Victory in regulation gives you 3 points; a win in overtime or shootout grants 2 points, while losing in OT or a shootout earns 1 point. The top four teams from each group move on to the playoffs. The lowest-ranked team drops to a lower division, while the top two from the lower division get promoted. If teams are tied on points, goal difference comes first, then total goals scored.
The group stage offers more freedom—you can test tactics and strategies, and even a few losses won’t eliminate your playoff chances. But once the knockout rounds begin, the pace shifts: every second counts, and goals in overtime or shootouts can decide it all. Each phase of the tournament brings a fresh challenge, from free-flowing attacking play to high-stakes, tactical battles for medals.
Relive iconic international hockey rivalries like the Canada–Russia Super Series, the Czech–Slovak derby, or the classic Sweden–Finland matchups—plus many more legendary clashes.
The game offers three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Start on Easy to gain confidence, then challenge yourself to dominate on higher difficulties.
To unlock every achievement, you'll need to win the championship in all five divisions. Want to top the global leaderboard? Win games by large margins. You’ll also earn bonus points for finishing in the top three of a tournament—the tougher the difficulty, the more points you score.
Upgrade your hockey team by winning matches to raise your team rating and level. A higher rating improves your overall team performance, including better goalie play. But be careful—losing matches will lower your rating.

Use the custom league editor to design your own hockey league—like a custom NHL or KHL. Create team names, assign strength levels, and organize a tournament with both group stages and playoffs.
You can also edit player names for all teams across every tournament. Your changes will be saved even if you start a new game.
